Pendidikan Islam Sebagai Inti Pendidikan Nasional

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis fungsi strategis pendidikan Islam sebagai inti pendidikan nasional dalam konteks Indonesia, dengan meneliti dimensi kebijakan, kerangka kurikuler, pengembangan karakter, dan hambatan yang terkait dengan realisasi nilai-nilai Islam di era digital kontemporer. Berasal dari dikotomi yang terus-menerus antara pendidikan agama dan pendidikan sekuler, penelitian ini membuktikan bahwa baik secara filosofis maupun hukum, tujuan pendidikan nasional sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip pendidikan Islam sebagaimana diartikulasikan dalam UU No. 20 tahun 2003. Menggunakan metodologi kualitatif deskriptif melalui tinjauan literatur yang ekstensif, data diperoleh dari jurnal ilmiah dan dokumen resmi pemerintah. Analisis dilakukan secara tematis, dengan fokus pada empat bidang utama: kontribusi pendidikan Islam terhadap kebijakan nasional, penggabungan nilai-nilai Islam dalam kurikulum, pentingnya nilai-nilai Islam dalam budidaya karakter, dan tantangan yang dihadapi dalam implementasinya selama era digital. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan Islam berfungsi sebagai landasan moral dan spiritual untuk pendidikan nasional, memfasilitasi pemeliharaan keseimbangan antara kecerdasan intelektual, etika, dan spiritual melalui adaptasi kurikuler dan inovasi pedagogis sesuai dengan tuntutan perkembangan zaman.
